Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers the SweatDiary app for macOS and iOS ("the App") and the SweatDiary website ("the Website").

The App

SweatDiary is designed to be fully offline and private. All workout data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data.

If you choose to use iCloud sync, your data is synced between your devices via Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) infrastructure. This data is handled entirely by Apple under their privacy policy. We never see, access, or process your synced data.

The App does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or any third-party services. No account or sign-up is required.

The Website

The Website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not use cookies or local storage.

We use Plausible Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. page views, referrer, country). Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without requiring a cookie consent banner. No personal information is collected or stored through the Website.

GitHub Pages may collect technical information such as IP addresses in server logs as part of their hosting service. See GitHub's Privacy Statement for details.
